So, what is a business intelligence system and what types of business intelligence tools are available today? Understanding the different types of BI tools is now more possible than ever. What is a Business Intelligence System? Effective use of information should not be exclusive to big players. Business intelligence (BI) has given companies of all sizes access to powerful data analytics capabilities. Acquiring insights and finding trends is essential for businesses to reach and become familiar over the years, which is exactly what business intelligence systems do. The best thing about these software solutions, however, is that their capabilities are limitless. There are six million ways to BI…at least, that’s what it (mostly) estimates. And the different types of BI reports are as numerous as the uses for BI. What you can do with your data with a good BI system is limited by one simple barrier: your creativity.
